Wines inspired by the Genius

The wines in the collection are created from grapes cultivated in the vineyards surrounding Villa Da Vinci, in the countryside where Da Vinci grew up and started to develop his passion for viticulture. Every label evokes a particular detail of Annunciation, a painting that was inspired by the hilly landscapes of Vinci. The names of the wines recall the original, historical name for the land owned by the Da Vinci family, with the addition of "Vin Santo", typical of Tuscan tradition.

The wines in the collection represent the most famous Italian wine-making classifications, combined with Leonardo Da Vinci's works of art. A synthesis of beauty, harmony and Italian quality, a demonstration of Da Vinci's genius, and a homage to his life: an extraordinary, infinite adventure through culture, science and nature.

The wines in the collection also pay homage to Romagna, and to the six months Da Vinci spent in the heartlands of the region. A special tour through four cities rich in history and beauty, which Da Vinci recreated in the sketches he drew on various legs of his journey, featured on the wine labels: Cesena, Cesenatico, Faenza and Imola.

The wines in the collection are inspired by the figure of the Vitruvian Man, a symbol chosen by Da Vinci to identify man's proportional harmony, power and modernity; his innate aspiration towards beauty. This philosophy is recreated in our wines, the ultimate expression of the traditions and values of our land and our people.
