Monnalisa Wines

Monnalisa collection was born from the strong union between technicians, winemakers and natural elements: quality and contemporary wines, respectful of the selected territories' characteristics.
Monnalisa collection's bottles are conceived as a tribute to the “Genius” and, in particular, as a tribute to his most celebrated, most seen, and best-known masterpiece. The signature is by the New Yorker Ian Henderson, the winner of our contest. Henderson is a photographer, a graffiti artist and a graphic designer with a strong passion for portraits. In telling his relationship with Leonardo’s work, he said:
“Leonardo da Vinci’s legacy and work have always encouraged me to share ideas through my own unique style, while learning and growing in the process.”

The traditional wine label made of paper gives way to a special printing technique done directly on the glass of the bottle with a tactile 'relief' effect that emphasises the work, making it almost concrete and real.

A special bottle is born, simulating details of Ian Henderson's work such as dripping paint. A collector's bottle is born, reinterpreting the masterpiece of the Genius. A new sensory experience is born, enhancing taste and beauty in all its perspectives and nuances.
